New Bay Area G37S Sedan owner

Hi everyone,

I have been creeping on the forum for about a month know and decided it was time to post my newly acquired 2010 G37S Sedan 7AT in Smoky Quartz (KAC). There is tons of information on here for the G and I'm glad to be apart of the forum. Picked her up with 44k miles in October. Haven't seen too many in this color on the forums but love the color change depending on lighting conditions.

Mods so far are 35% tint all around, 5000k low beam bulbs, front chin spoiler, splash guards, rear deck lid, Cusco FSTB, interior and exterior 5k LED's.

I will probably start modding again after winter. Looking forward to meeting more Bay Area folks for inspiration.

Here she is. Cheers!

Nice Sedan you've got there, looks like you're already off to a nice start w/ the mods. Congrats and welcome to the site, we used to live in Santa Rosa, CA, and miss the bay area a lot!

Welcome to the forum! Nice list of mods! I don't see many smoky quartz G's around here, so props for getting an unusual color.

Thanks guys, currently working on a DIY grounding kit and considering if I should color the headlights and add LED's and get the midnight front grill. I just got the TSB transmission update this weekend and made a significant difference in shifting and DS mode. But it seems like the car is back to its usual habit of shifting.

Thank you Zoster, your G is an inspiration. Hopefully I can achieve a stanced G like yours. Btw did you have to roll or shave the fenders? Any rubbing issues?

Thank you for the props. It's been a work in progress with her and it's never ending LOL. No I did not have to roll or shave anything because I have no rubbing issues. Just make sure you get the correct offsets to avoid problems. I'm at a +28 up front with 9.5" and +38 in back with a 10.5" wheel. Hope this info helps

You're running a little extra camber aren't you? Can't get a better fit IMO w/ 245/275 setup

^^^ Yeah that's as close you can get without rubbing. Great job Lorenzo. I've changed my set up to 20x9 32 and 20x10 39 and I feel like I'm close.

By the way Pat...welcome to the forum.

I'm running a 245/275 set up right now with no camber kit. I think I should get a camber kit for the rear though so I can go a little lower.

I'm thinking of 20x10.5 all around. I just wanna know what offset i'll need to clear the sport calipers since I don't want to run spacers. I figured i'd get the stance right the first time. So I'm doing some research. Thanks for the specs on your set-up.

Thanks for a warm welcome. How are you liking the Swift Springs? Still feel like your riding on stock suspension? I was going to get something temporary until spring and summer. By then i'll have already made up my mind on what wheels, coils, etc. i want. I just wanna close the gap but still want to maintain decent riding comfort.
