New to the G family
Good evening everyone. I'm a former Lincoln owner who Just purchased my 2010 G37 Thursday and love it! First completed mod is the 30% ceramic tint installed this morning and next up is hard-wiring my V1 radar detector.
Couple quick questions. I have a Microsoft Zune MP3 player and the car doesn't seem to recognize it. Is the car only set up to read IPODs? Also, does anyone have recommendations on a solid exhaust system? I'm also in the process of considering painting the calipers. Does anyone happen to have pics of a silver G with red calipers?
Thanks

My 2010 works with my iPod perfectly, but I haven't tried it with other players. From what I recall reading the manual it said that USB drives with mp3 files should work as well, though. What you could do as a test is copy some music files and folders to a plain USB stick and see if that works.

Welcome to the site, nice clean G you picked up.
FWIW most don't paint the base calipers a bright color, don't really want to bring too much attention to the smaller base brake set. The large Sport Akebono brakes are much better suited to a color that stands out since they're a nice looking Big Brake Set. I have the smaller brakes and just painted them Black w/ a logo decal to just blend w/ the car for a clean look. I used VHT Caliper Paint and it's held up well for a couple years. IMO A Black, Silver, or Gray paint is the best look for the base calipers. Here's a couple pics of mine for reference~

the HD is still my favorite mp3 player. unfortunately it's not that popular so no OEMs don't integrate with them
