Just saying hello!
Hey everyone!
I recently decided to pick up a G37-S, 6 speed (gotta have all the pedals) and am pretty much just torn between what color I want now at this point. I requested a blue one be shipped from a different location but the more I look at the blue the more I'm actually pretty unsure if I even like it. I currently own a 03' lexus is300 and a 07' STI, my pride and joy.
Anywho once I decide on a color I hope to begin on the modding process. Also if anyone has any input color wise I'd appreciate it, my lexus is pearl white and my sti is "black swirl". Subaru isn't known for paint and that was my first black car=not a good experience, but I am in between black obsidian, ivory pearl and athens blue (pending seeing it). Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum !!
When buying my G, I had to decide between ivory pearl and black obsidian. As a personal preference I ended up deciding for the black but I think if I would went with the ivory pearl I would still be happy with the choice.
As you know, you need to work a little harder to keep the black looking good
I dont think you'll go wrong with either one of these two colors.....g/l
btw...I also test drove a silver G and it just didnt "feel" it was the right color. I also looked at athens blue and didnt care too much for the color either.

Welcome to the site, beware Infiniti paint is pretty fragile, chips fly off the car easier than any other car I've owned, both my Gs were the same
I had the slate blue & now the black, I prefer the black but as you know it's one of those "no pain, no gain" situations. I think it depends what else you plan on doing as far as exterior mods. Also some colors are harder to find OEM parts like spoilers since they're paint matched from the factory. Black is always the easiest to find FWIW.

I was hoping that the subaru would be the only car that had crappy paint. Tough decision, I'm the person that buffs one quarter panel and calls it a day. LolSorry I didn't specify, I'm getting a coupe.

Thanks! I ended up canceling having the blue G sent out and opted for the white instead. My one gripe about the car though is that clock...I wonder if there is an alternative to that? it's just so tacky, call me a typical picky girl but if I'm returning to the luxury world I want all of it. Lol
