New to Infiniti and to the forum
Hi Everyone,
Nice to meet you.
I Have been browsing this forum for a little over 6 months now. Just registered today and am proud to be a part of such a nice community.
--to get started (a little about myself) -- Since a very young age I have always been a vehicle enthusiast. I even remember my first experiences at the wheel as a young kid, steering my Grandpa's Lada model 3, then the model 6 and then my dad's and my families first coupe, the Lada model 9 ("deviatka"). This was in the 80's and all before I was 9 years old lol, I couldn't reach the pedals, but I steered the car while Grandpa and later Dad operated the gas and break...., but the wonderful memories behind a wheel in my early childhood remain!
Driving History:
1st car (1996 age 16) - used 1991 Acura Integra (drove it til it had 275,000), (bought for $5,000 in 1996, sold for $2,500)
2nd car (1999 age 19) - used 1995 Lexus SC 300, was one of the nicest looking ones I had ever seen full Bomex body kit, in dash fold out TV/DVD combo, 1100W amp with twin 12" in the trunk (late ninety's early 2000's
, it was beautiful.
3rd car (2004 age 24) - used 2001 Lexus IS 300. No modifications, it was nice stock. It took me to and from the University every day in a different state. 45 min drive on the highway. I loved the car and I have never experienced better car service then what I got at Lexus. (became even more evident when Infiniti turned me down for a car wash and treated me like **** on my second visit to the dealership when my brand new car had less then 500 miles on it, it was my most horrible experience with my IPL so far and it's for another topic, just a side note)
I have never been part of any car club or car community in the past, this will be my very first experience.
In September 2012 I traded in my IS and bought my first brand new car. My
(4th car - New (had plastic still on it) - 2013 IPL and I absolutely <3 it. Malbac Black w/ Red Leather and IPL emblems on the seats).
I am new to the forum and new to Infiniti. I have enjoyed this forum so far, now that I’m registered I hope to learn more about my car, and meet some fellow owners.
