1st time at the track!

1st week in a manual car! only had 700 miles on the car!

1st time at the track 2!

13.9! my 60 foot was horrible tho gotta work on my launching !

yteh gunna get the michelin pilot super sports when the bridgestone potenzas r done! will be saving about 22-25 lbs and thats rotating mass so id really be saving like 100-150lbs!

do u guys flat foot shift ur g37s?! also i tried 2 do a stand still but when i dropped the clutch and dove onto the break it killed the engine is that normal or was i just not revving it high enough

Nissan/Infiniti have a brake over ride system.
When throttle & brake are hit at the same time, result is no power.
When you launch, just hold the clutch to the friction point & a 2k launch should keep you from roasting your clutch or your tires.
Btw, car did you run against?

Good run

Pretty good run for your first time out. Your launch isnt great but the real story is the fox body's launch. a fox body that hooks up can hit 1.7s 60ft. Normal is like 2 flat. You have to smile knowing that it killed him a little inside to see your tail lights pulling away haha

haha yeh def happy about the time! honestly with a good launch and flat foot shifting and tires a little deflated im thinking the car will do 13.5s-13.7s stock!
