Thanks. Drive it I will!

samrich,

I was in the same boat. Started out looking at the 335iX coupe and just about bought one when my wife pointed out a really nice looking 08 G37s which I decided to take for a drive. Really liked it but felt it too wasn't as "refined" as the BMW, and it lacked the AWD.

A bit of searching resulted in a 09 G37x coupe that was loaded and in beautiful condition. It was a single owner, low mileage off lease that was meticulously cared for and was in the same price range as yours. I pulled the trigger and bought it and really loved it.

Two good things about it (and there are many more...) 1. I see much fewer around town than I see 328's and 335's. 2. One of my friends owns a fairly well modded 335iX sedan and his impression of my G37x was "damn".

Welcome to the forums.

David

I'm a recent G37 buyer myself...never owned a bimmer in the past but I did test drive 328i, and 335i before buying the G. I only had 1 yr and change of factory warranty left so cost of ownership was a big factor.

The 335i is definitely more fun to drive, but I tend to keep my cars a long time and prefer the NA engine vs the turbo long term.

I have a Nissan Altima also and you're right the key fob...exactly the same.
