Welcome.

Question for the OP; Discounting all the creature comforts and focusing strictly on the driving experience - power, handling, trans (I assume you got the 6mt?), how would you compare the two cars? I ask because at one point I considered the sti, but felt the G was more refined in terms of toys/amenities. On occasion I'll still test drive a sti and wonder if that might be the next car..

to tell you the truth im very pleased with getting rid of my suby, subarus are veryy veryyyy veryyyyyyy temperamental. power wise it was comparable since it wasnt aggressively tuned, handling my suby was on some stiff coils that would out handle the G, my trans was a 5MT with JDM RA gears which were shorter and stronger since the stock 5MT was a extremely fragile. an STI does have a lot more amenities compared to the WRX so i didnt get to experience all of that. if you care more for luxury and comfort id take a G over a STI
