I recently purchased a 2011 G37x and was thinking about having the accent lighting installed, which lights up the footwells while driving at night.

Has anybody purchased these? How do they look? Is it a nice faint glow?

I purchased and installed it myself, honestly I don't even notice them anymore. My passengers do though and think their nice. My Fiance likes being able to look at her shoes lol. They really only light up the front foot or so of the foot wells and the pedals on the drivers side.

You can do what I did. Buy led strips and wire it for a lot cheaper

 

For a $100 kit and DIY install, it's totally worth it. I have it and loving it.

 

Or much brighter LED's for $20 and simple DIY install. Whatever floats your boat
