speed 3 to 2009 G37XS
Wanted to say hello to all the forum members. I got my first G about a month ago. Its a 2009 G37xS, platinum graphite.
I am coming off of a 2010 Mazdaspeed3. Loved my speed3, but had to sell it as I could not drive a manual for longer periods, my legs would start hurting after just 10mins of city driving. But, it was a fun car to drive, enough power for spirited driving and easy manoeuvrability.
First impressions of G37 were not so good. Especially after driving a manual shift for more than 2yrs, I could not get used to the lag in an automatic. After the ECM and TCM upgrades car feels much better but, still not as good as a manual.
Thanks to all the members of this forum who share so much knowledge and information, it makes it easy for newbies like me.

I sold my 2007 Mazdaspeed3 and bought my G. I miss the Speed3 a lot. It seriously makes you want to drive like a hooligan. I had that thing fully bolted with KW coils and sway bars. It was such a useful car too. I hauled a ton of stuff in there. I highly suggest some suspension mods for you G. I just bought Powertrix coilovers and Hotchkis sways. The car handles in an amazing way. Highly recommend.
