should have came and seen me in the south bay, would have given you a better test drive Also if you are ever looking for an IPL I tend to have the most Confused though again on the handling, I track my S and love the feeling around corners and levelness of the body. Even more so after extensive modifications

The only strange thing I'm getting from this post is the fact the OP says the car is sitting unusually high off the ground, especially since he has other similar cars to compare it to.
As far as the tires, the stock summer Bridgestones aren't a crap tire, sure they wear incredibly fast but they grip very well and won't detract from the car regarding handling, it's not the tires, maybe the pressure but not the tires.
It sounds like something's not quite right w/ the suspension, that ride height concern coupled w/ the fact OP says it handles like a minivan really screams suspension issues.
I'd have the service dept go over the suspension components w/ a fine tooth comb.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. Sure there's stickier, longer wearing and better handling tires, but for an oem tire in the 19" size the sidewalls are firm and the grip is decent. All I'm saying is these tires won't exhibit the symptoms the OP is listing. If they're not inflated to 35-40psi then maybe, but it sounds like something else is amiss IMO.

Strangely enough my coworker who has the G37S also had her tires swapped out and the difference is night and day. Those 19" summertime tires really destroy this car's handling.
As for the radio issue, it was all about turning OFF the drivers audio stage (DSP filter is just bad -- most likely this was affecting the stereo seperation), turning UP the speed-sensitive audio feature, keeping the bass and treble to 1 or 2 above the middle mark at a maximum. Anything higher causes very weird issues.
