2010 G37xS Sedan Anniversary Edition
Hi guys, I recently purchased a 2010 G37xS Sedan Anniversary Edition. It had 54,000 miles when I bought it, mostly highway miles. Let me know what you think.

Anniversary Emblem
I saw this emblem that might look good with the red interior.

Looks great!! Welcome to the family! I love the red interior, I'm slightly jealous. Not that you necessarily will need it, but because you are pretty much out of warranty, I hope you got the extended warranty negotiated into your purchase. If not, go get your transmission software updated immediately! Read about it in the TSB section on the forum.

Thanks, I didn't take the extended warranty because I won't need for a while. I only do about 6,000 miles a year anyway. Secondly, the one offered by the used car dealer (Chevrolet) was too expensive. I'm looking at one from Carchex. Does anyone know of a good extended warranty?
As far as the tranny, I do suspect it needs the TSB because it's not as smooth in the low gears and it wants to stop when I take my foot off the gas pedal. I'll be taking it soon to a dealer also to do a complete diagnostic. The TSBs are done free of charge right?

Very nice. I haven't seen a anniversary in GS. But looks nice. Love the red seats but not a fan of the steering wheels. Looks 'fat'. Is that a cover on it? Or thats just how it is?

Thanks. The steering wheel is just a cover. It's the best one I could find to match the seats without too much red. The other covers I found had too much red or the wrong shade of red. I like the thick steering wheels because it feels more sporty. Anyway, it's only temporary until I can afford a custom steering wheel with red carbon fiber accents. I think the perfect look for the anniversary edition should've been red and black seats, all black interior including the roof (don't like the light roof), red carbon fiber trim and red carbon fiber accented steering wheel. Also, to match a red and black with red carbon fiber engine cover. The only car I've seen like that is the 2009 Ponitac G8 GXP, which was the other car I was looking to buy, except for the RWD and poor reliability record of Pontiac. My previous car was a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Comp G.

Pntiac G8 GXP Red/Black Interior
I found a photo of the 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP with Red and Black Interior. I would've wanted the Anniversary Edition to have a similar interior.

Thanks jmueller. I went yesterday to the dealer and they did the ITB12-027C update for the transmission. It feels much smoother at the lower gears. The dealer almost didn't want to do it saying it's not necessary like a recall. It's voluntary and some drivers may not object to the tranny harshness. I insisted on doing it anyway. It's almost like they're trained to talk people into not doing it. I guess since it's a free update, they don't want to do it to all the cars.

Red Carbon Fiber Dash Kit
Hi guys, I've been away from this post for a few years. I forgot to post an update of my red carbon fiber dash kit. I also painted the calipers and rotors red.
