Thumbs up Newbie: Just leased a 2012 G37x

Hello Guys,

I am from Albuquerque, NM and I just leased a Graphite Shadow 2012 G37x. I traded my E46 330i for this Infiniti. Its my first Infiniti ever and till now I am loving it .
Other cars that I considered before making the decision was.

1. Audi S4-Loved it but not worth the extra $300 a month in lease.
2. BMW 335i not worth the premium over G37.

I am looking forward to interacting with you guys and also eagerly waiting for the next generation G.

Cheers,
Kraken!

An Update:

The car battery died yesterday night while i was out for a dinner, had to get help from Infiniti road side assistance to get it jump started. I dropped the car at dealership today morning. Not normal for a 5 day old car with 200 miles on it.

My service rep told that the battery Infiniti comes with are not known for its reliability.
Hope it is not an issue with alternator.

The battery will die if you keep the radio on for more than 1 hour without having the car started....

Looks like this was the issue. I was under the impression that the car will shutdown fully if i lock the car from outside, even if it was on the accessory mode.

I'm surprised to hear about this with a 2012. The older models (2008 mostly) can have battery troubles, though I haven't seen many complaints about 2010+. Do you know if the car sat on the lot for a while before it was sold? I'd bet that's probably what happened. Hopefully it's just a fluke and the rest of your ownership experience will be a smooth ride. Welcome to the forums!

I am very much happy with the car other than this minor incident. I took it to the dealership and they said everything is fine. At present the on-board meter shows my MPG is around 16.7, Is it normal or am i really being lead footed?
