Going to pick up a 6MT G37S Coupe tomorrow

Time for something with better gas mileage and less cargo room.

I found a 2008 coupe in Atlanta with all the right goodies for the right price. I'm driving up from the Tampa area tomorrow to get it.

Congrats on your G.

What were you driving before to consider this as being better gas mileage? I wouldn't buy this car for fuel efficiency. It only create a heavier lead foot.

Funny stuff, a lot of people have sold of their G's due to the bad gas mileage. If you come from a Jeep or DD a Jeep like I do you probably think the G gets amazing MPG's!

Welcome, you definately found a nice car.

You might be in for a surprise with the gas mileage. My '12 6MT sedan is averaging 12.x mpg based on the dash computer. All city driving over ~300 miles. Maybe it will improve a little bit once the engine breaks in.

12mpg is pretty terrible. Unless you're redlining at every stop light. I average about 17-19 and I'm a semi heavy foot driver.

In order to wean myself off 300+ lb-ft of torque I've taken to working the upper rpm range. The novelty of a 7500 rpm redline hasn't worn off yet

If you considering mid to low 20s bad gas mileage you won't like this car much. But hey, if you drive a 15 MPG truck then congrats and welcome!!

15?! Hah!

It's a Traliblazer SS AWD. Try 11ish in the city.

So far I've been getting 20 mixed driving in the G. I'm almost doubling my fuel mileage.

So far, am super happy with it as well. Pics in a moment.

Nice ride OP!

You had to drive all the way to ATL for it? That shows how much you wanted it! How long did it take you to get there? I'm guessing at least 7 hrs?

I drove down to Miami for mine, still remember how happy and nervous I felt when driving back up on I-95!

Welcome to the family!
