Hello from CT

Hello all,
Just figured I would introduce myself to the forum. I have browsed here quite a few times for info regarding Infiniti, so I figured why not join.

Anyways, my first Infiniti was a 2009 G37x Sedan. I fell in love with the car since the first day I drove it off the lot. However, I knew deep down inside I had my heart set on a coupe. Long story short as time went on the incentives to trade in the car got better and better. Last week I made the purchase on a 2012 G37xs coupe black exterior with black interior, premium pkg, interior accent lighting, led kick plates, spoiler, midnight black grill, sport muffler, 3M invisible bra. I will post pics when I pick the car up next week.

So, I must say prior to purchasing the coupe I was a bit unfaithful to Infiniti . I did go test drive a C350, 335i, CTS coupe, and A5. All of these cars were nice in their own right... The C350 felt very luxurious and the front of a Mercedes is hard to beat. The 335i handled like a dream as I took hair-pin corners at 60 mph. The CTS coupe just looks wild, had a lot of "nice-ity" features like remote start, and had a wicked paint job. The A5 had a nice interior, as well as a nice exterior design. As most of you probably know most of these cars fall within the same price range. But one thing that is aggravating for a consumer is the fact that you have to add so many options to BMW or Mercedes. The Infiniti offers most of those options as stock. Plus, I found that those cars just didn't feel right to me. They all had nice features but did not match the overall performance and reliability of the Infiniti. So I found myself back at my local dealership and they gave me one hell of a deal.

On a side note, I chose the sport muffler option. Upon further research I was wondering if I should have saved the cash and went for a full cat exhaust system. I heard some good things about the sport muffler but I guess I'll have to see when I pick up the car. Also, anyone have input regarding cold air intake? I know Injen gets some decent reviews so I was considering having that done as well.

Anyways, just wanted to give ya all a run-down on my situation and say hello.
