New 2012 6MT Vert Owner
Hi all. First time posting on the forum today, finding a lot of great info from what seems like an awesome community.
Came from having a 2007 335i 6MT coupe, so having a drop top in San Diego is definitely a blast. The 335 was bought back for virtually what I paid back in 2007 inclusive of tax/title/registration/extended warranty (high pressure fuel pump), so I think I owe BMW NA a very nice 'thank you' for almost fully subsidizng the purchase price of my new toy.
The G has been pretty good so far, though there's definitely a difference in the build between my 335 and the G. The BMW has a more solid feel, and it's clutch/manual is just hands down better than the G's in every way, shape and form. The G is a nice car and I'm enjoying ownership; it's definitely a looker, too. Going to take it into the dealership the week after next to have them look at a couple of minor issues, but not before installing the 3M clearbra and throwing a nice dark tint on this week.
