Just thought I'd say HEY from the soon to be frozen north.

I'm not yet an owner, but am in the process of searching for an 09' G37X Coupe.

Looking at that year and model - as the pricing seems to be in around the low $30K mark - my target number.

I've been cruising around this forum - and seeing some great info, thanks in advance to all that have contributed useful bits of info.

I test piloted an 09 G37X Coupe today and I was impressed. It moved out pretty good, and I was surprised by the ride quality - very nice. Yup - thats the model I'm after - but with the Navi option.

Flying south to buy the right car isn't out of my plans - if it saves me some money and makes it worthwhile.

Anyways - great place you have here!

^^^^ Try reading his post first. It clearly states he doesn't Ian the car yet in the second sentence. Did you read anything at all?

Welcome to the forum and good luck in your search.

Newbie Questions

Can anyone point to any known electrical issues with the 09 G37 X Coupe - notably with the NAVI system?

CLosing in on a white 09..........

Only thing I have heard of is the fact that the Battery can't take the power so they swapped it out. Unless you get one that had a bunch of lighting and stereo mods, should be OK.

Bought it.

Picked up my "new to me" 09 G37S with 6 speed trans on Wednesday this week.

Bought a set of rims and snow tires with the deal. Picked the car up in a snow storm............ *****.....

Upside - the car is absolutely awesome. Downside - barely holds my kids hockey bag!

In the snow I had to be sensitive to kicking the rear end out. The tires did well. Not planning to add any weight to the trunk yet - I think I'll be ok - save for a major snowstorm - then I simply wait for the snow removal equipment to do its thing!

Only complaint so far would be the clutch throw - it feels like its about 10 inches.... I know its not - but I'll certainly be looking into the mod I spotted on how to remove the spring and adjust the throw.

Haven't taken any good pics yet - but heres one I made from the dealer website.

Cheers!
