I'm not going to lie.
My dad gets the insurance under his name and we both have the same name. So when I get pulled over I just tell them I have insurance and in they want to see it they usually say no so is ok.
So to answer your question I don't know because I don't ever get insurance I'm sure it would be high specially with my driving record.

I don't think that'll fly after you're in a collision with someone else (your fault or not), or if you wrap the car around a tree. When there is an actual claim, you bet the insurance co will make sure the driver actually had coverage. You and your father may share the same name, but not the same DOB or license #.

If you're considering this car, better research what actual insurance will cost before you buy the car.

you gotta be a mind reader lol. I been thru both a collision and a tree. Yes we had some little problems here and there. And true this a sports car it would be way different.
I would say I also learned how to not do dumb things anymore. But then again there is people out there that will do something dumb and some day or another a wreck will happen..

go find me a 17k mile car from a infiniti dealer for 20-25k sport certified pre owned with extended warranty.. lol plus buying it from a actual inifinti dealer is better then buying from private AS IS or a shady small dealership that won't let you know about frame damage since carfax sucks and never pulls that crap up. autocheck ftw

only down side no navi back up camera etc?

Before I purchased my G, I had the option of buying a fully loaded (tech included ) 2009 G37S. The car was PG, with < 20k miles
and the dealer was letting it go for 25K after negotiation. The car itself was clean on both the outside AND inside; so how is this not in between the 20-25k range?
By the way, it was from an Infiniti dealership.

Tech package for an 08-09 have Intelligent Cruise control and AFS lights (basically the lights move when you make turns, following your path for better illumination). A car typically has the tech package when you see a sensor towards the bottom of the bumper.

It is a real clean looking G and the mileage is very low. You should be able to get the price dropped a little I think. After all it is an 08. But I'd pull the trigger at the right price.
