New 2011 G37x Owner....

Been lurking in the forums since I bought my G mid-June.

I really like the car, very few nits to pick. Handling, performance and value are outstanding. Since I got rid of my 330i, I forgot what it was like to drive in a semi-luxury performance oriented sedan, what a pleasure.

The air conditioning, in this heat wave, is absolutely outstanding. Love the nav and sound system.

Now that the car has over 1200 miles, I've started to hit the gas. The car moves likes it was shot from a slingshot.

Minor nits. It's not as smooth over rough road as I remember my 330i. The 7at does a good job at maximizing your gas mileage, but sometimes it seems to forget where it is.

You can't put the air in recirculate mode without the a/c coming on. Every other non-American car I've had, allowed you to do this.

I had the dealer install the nose mask and interior accent lighting. That will be the extent of my mods to the car.

Radio package with the nav is very flexible. Not only streams music from my BB, but streams Pandora. Sound system is awesome, especially when watching a movie with 5.1 sound such as the matrix (with the parking brake on of course). Cannot hook my BB through the USB however, but since it streams everything except video, it's no biggie.

Anyway I enjoy the forum, seems to be "the place" these days for G owners.

Are you sure about this? I always turn on the recirculation w/o the a/c turning on.

Anyways, best of luck with the new car. Enjoy it in good health.

Tried it again this morning. When recirculate is on the a/c light is on.
