Hey guys i didnt want to break up this post into diff threads so i posted it here

I bought the G37 Graphite Shadow IPL with the black/chrome grill

I've been itching to add my own personal touch to the car and I've thought of a few things but I wanted to run it by you guys and see what your thoughts were...
- Good/Bad idea
- Suggestions
- Where I could get some of this stuff for cheap...
- Ext.

The first few things im considering changing are:

Intake: waiting on GTM to come out with one for the IPL according to their reply to my inq they should have it in 60 days from today

Interior Trim: Im thinking about changing my interior trim to carbon fiber and a sub-thought is if I do change the trim if it should be plain CF or a black/red CF trim

Tint: Limo tint ... All Done and it looks SEX

HID's: Im thinking 8k

Roof: Considering changing the color of my roof to black
On that note I dont know if Black/CF Vynal/Paint/CF

Rotors: Slotted Rotors for braking power and looks
Calibers: Probably paint them black

Side View Mirrors: Probably change the caps to CF

Hood: CF hood

Be careful of that limo tint, you have a lot of chance to pull over by the cop

 

Wow, great color choice... I'd stay away from HID's, I think the stock xenon's look much crisper and cleaner, but that's just MHO... Oh and if you want, get yellow film for your fogs.

For the roof, CF is expensive and paint is irreversible, so just vinyl it for now.

Where are you located, btw?

 

leave ur roof stock IMO. ur car is already dark color to begin with.. changing the roof to black will look funky. Unless ur car is white then a black roof will bring the contrast. be careful driving with limo tint. i have that with my beater car and u cant see out at night clearly.

congrats man, and as far as HID's the highest I would go is 6k which is what I have.

pics or fail.. lol jk anyways I had limo tint all around and couldnt see at night, I had to drive with my windows down most of the time.

 

I have 5% tints on every window except windshield. I have yet to get pulled for my tints(Knock on Wood). I can see just fine at night with the exception of backing out my driveway but the reverse cam fixes that. I wouldn't go any higher that 6k for HID's. The higher the color temperature the lower the light output. And oh yeah, Where are the pics?

Yea i was thinking about the vinyl as well the other options are pretty pricy and are a pain in the *** to reverse

 

yea ;/ but i figured id play with gray chrome and black on my car

grills stock chrome/black
car and rims are gray
interior black/chrom-ish

im planning on adding the CF hood with the vents (id post a pic but im at work -_-) and i figured the grill with the cf hood and the black top would look nice and id add the black brake calibers too
