New member to the forum with modding questions!!!

Hello all! This is my first post in the myg37 forums but I have been reading threads for about a month now. I am buying a used 2008 G37 AT from my father, and wanted to ask you what should be my top 3 mods to this new piece of artwork. I would really like to install a turbokit, $8,000 does seem steep though... Anyways lets hear you opinions.

Everyone will ask what your budget is. So, what's your budget?

Small budget:
1. Springs
2. Interior LEDs
3. Tint

Bigger budget:
1. Spings or coils
2. Wheels
3. Exhaust

And then everyone will tell you that, in the end, just get what you want.

Welcome to the forum.

Definitely lower the car with springs or full coilovers. Then after that depends on what you are looking for...performace or looks?

How far down did y'all get the coupe lowered? I want to give it an aerodynamic edge, but but I want to avoid scalping the bottom on speed bumps and such.

Also this is the GTM turbo kit I plan on adding. I heard it's good, but that if I plan on upgrading it in the future I'll have to redo the ENTIRE system...

With 10K for a budget, I'd definitely get coils instead of springs, sways, camber kit, wheels, exhaust, intake, tune and tint. That should cover all of that and still have some left over.....as long as you don't buy $5K rims!

1. Lighter wheels
2. Better tires
3. Coils
4. Camber kit
5. Sway bars
6. Oil cooler

Not necessary but fun:
7. Exhaust
8. Intakes
9. Tune
