Hello!
Hi everyone, I just signed on the dotted line on a 2009 G37x sedan, auto. I pick it up on Monday. 32,000km.
I'm very excited as I'm coming from a 2005 Volvo S40 2.4i. The test drive blew me away, this thing is QUICK, smooth, and handles great.
What's up with the transmissions? I hear some people are complaining...

congrats. dont worry about the 7at. i think the problems reported are associated with most other automatic transmission in any brand car that has 7+ gears. the only problem i have with the 7at is that it will lag on the downshift sometimes when you hit the accelerator while at speed. i move it to ds and that fixes the problem i think the 7at is fantastastic accelerating from a standstill shifting up through the gears. it shifts very quick and purposeful.

Congrats and welcome. There are a bunch of threads on the 7AT and the reprogram. But feel it out and see. I decided to leave mine as is, but got a hypertech programmer instead.

Hope you like your 7at. I wish my 08 g coupe was 7at. Lol
i know i enjoy driving it around when i take my car to get serviced and they lend me a sedan loaner.
