New G37S Sedan Owner in Germany
Hello forum,
Thought I would say hello. I wasnt looking to buy a G37, I actually had a 2011 370z Touring Sport on order from Nissan but my order was canceled due to the Tsunami. The dealer asked me to come to the showroom and pick out another car, I went in there looking at AUDI A4s and A5s, but there in the corner was this 2011 G37 Sedan Sport.
Since there was no way that I could get a Z, I went with the G37. Its a very nice car.
I will get the keys Friday once my paperwork clears customs.

Congrats and welcome to the forum.
Why did Nissan actually cancel your Z order? I realize it would have been delayed because of the tsunami, but completely canceled? That doesn't make a lot of sense. Somebody obviously had a reason that maybe you could shed some light on.
Post some pics of your car when you get delivery.

The car was built and sitting on the docks when the tsunami hit. I guess once Nissan got back to work they were not going to be able to meet demand schedules and canceled the order. They did however offer to build me a 2012 but I would have to wait till December to take delivery. I have been waiting since Jan on that order already and didn't want to wait any longer.
