New Booty

Hey guys

Just picked up my 08 G37s yesterday. It's my first stick car so I'm making my way around in one piece, but getting used to things will take some time and I'm aware of it. Just been reading up on all of the shifting threads haha.
I used to have a 05 5at G35 coupe named Bianca before, but someone hit me and ran . So no I'm trying to start better and show love for another beautiful G.

Peace

Adjust the clutch pedal for a lower engagement. That will help you out. Search for the thread on here on how to do it. Took me 2mins and the car is easy as hell to drive now.

eek! congrats and welcome! notice how it takes more time to shift smoothly from 1st to 2nd, then between all the other gears? ugh...it'll take time. I've had mine for 8 months and I still can't drive it 100% consistently. don't even get my started on the whole "clutch assembly" issue I had (flywheel wasn't seated correctly). anyways, enjoy your new car man!!!

congrats.

I named my G, Gertrude. . . . I don't know why but the name's stuck.

Our G's MT/clutch is a bit harsh compared to other car brands. My previous Honda had a way smoother clutch. But if you're learning with the G, then you can't compare then... right.

After the first 4 days I had a rough time.

Since then I've been alright with the clutch. I thought that the 1 to 2 was going to be more hard but I guess it's a finess thing as I'm told. I'm going to look up that post. Thanks for all the hospitality guys!
I'm not totally noob. I was on g35 driver for a while haha.
