2008 G37s Coupe

I'm looking to purchase a G37s coupe within the next few months. At this point, a 2008 is the only one in my price range. Nonetheless, are there any issues that I should be worried about regarding the 2008 model? Any recalls on anything? Any transmission issues? Thanks a lot!

I was inquiring about the manual transmission. Glad to hear your car runs great however!

I have an 08 w/ 45,000 miles. 6MT. Only problems that most people seem to have are the seat bubbles and brake squeak in reverse. Nothing major. Car is pretty reliable. Make sure you get one with factory warranty...

Yeah I was wondering if that was a normal issue, I also have the reverse brake squeal and exhaust rattle. Doesn't bug me enough to take her to the dealer but I just might.

Thanks for the input!
Now about the exhaust rattle, break squeal, and seat bubbling... is there anything else that I should be concerned about?

Thank you

Terrible gas mileage if you get addicted to the VQ music.

According to this forum this car is pretty much problem free. I have been reading about these cars draining the battery rather quickly.

6mt has a tricky clutch, 09-11 7AT is not perfect, stereo is a bit weak (even the 11 speaker) and SRI's give you placebo horsepower.

if the cars under warranty have them do the battery swap and leather swap (if theres bubbles) before you buy it, or have them put in writing they will do it later.

Sounds great!
Now is there a considerable difference in between the 08 and 09 G37s coupe models?

Also, my nearest infiniti dealer is approx. 70 miles away... while my nissan dealer is only about 10 miles away... Will this pose a problem?

Only difference I can think of is that the 09 at is 7 speed. And I think 4WAS was only available in 08.

I just bought a 2008 G37S (manual)......i love it so far, not happy with the Bose Audio systyem, just does not sound good (what i would expect from a bose system). Looking for any advice on what to do to upgrade this audio system. Does anyone have the cheatsheet for the voice commands?
Also, I live in Texas, i have the Factory High Performance Season tires, any recommendations on next set of tires.
