New G! New Owner! New ME!

Hello! I am a proud new G37 owner as of today!! I got a 2009 G37 with 99 miles on it (they weren't able to move them for a loooong time apparently, needless to say, I got a ridiculous deal) So here I am! I was cross shopping the 370z, but the road noise killed it for me, but it was the only car that excited me. Then I heard about the hold over '09s... and well, one test drive later, and here I am. I had to make a concession (I got the 7AT nonsport, yet premium pkg.) But the tran can really be fun when i use the shifting. Since I am coming from an 03 Civic Si... its an upgrade for sure! I am loving my first drive.

anyway! here it is....

congrats on a great ride. the 7at does have a few bugs but i think its a great trans. 1-3rd are geared very close for excellent exceleration. i also like that it downshifts automatically while braking.

thanks to everyone welcoming me to the forum! I seriously am loving this thing. I am contemplating getting the warranty from Infiniti Elite Protection Plans | Infinity Car Warranty Maintenance Plan since it seems a good deal, and I want to keep this car.

interesting... buggy? how?

thanks for the tip on the accel. I want to know more about the 7AT, but most of the info out there is on the 6MT (which I wanted but was out of my desired budget.)

Welcome aboard! I personally love the 09's, I would rather have one of those over an 11

it is nice to finally drive something that can move. AT or not! Thanks for that too. want to create some discussion around personal experiences in performance areas and stories about personal experiences, and less noise about things discussed to death!

well, my now previous g37 had a specific cable that came with it, nothing else would fit. Not really sure what the 08 has, I would imagine similar.... but I wouln't know for sure!
