After a tough, but ultimately very favorable day of negotiating yesterday, I'm now the proud owner of a new G37 Journey sedan, in Blue Slate. I took some phone pics, but don't have a cord here at work....I think you guys know what the car looks like

Easily the nicest car I've ever owned.....could be the nicest car I ever *will* own. Upgraded from a 2002 Civic coupe, I'd say it's quite the different driving experience.

Even though I did pull a great deal, still can't believe I spent that much on a car, I definitely lost some sleep last night.....haha

Driving back from the dealership was fun, it was actually difficult to keep the car under 80 on the highway. Hitting slower traffic on 95, going 50-55 felt intolerably slow.

 

Finally another local G , where did you buy from? What options did you get? Any plans for the car?

 

Well, I was up in Broward yesterday looking at the Acura TSX V6 at Rick Case (they quoted me the lowest price). Always liked the G but thought it a little out of my price range. Then the guy at Infiniti of Coconut Creek called me up and left a voicemail that went something like this....hey, I gotta move 3 more G's to meet my quota, come up today and I'll give you a deal! Worth a try, I figured. Actually live pretty close to South Motors, but they were coming in a little too high for me.

Some tough negotiation and grueling hours later, I'm driving down 95 in my new G. I went with the premium package only. I don't know what I want to do with it yet - I'll probably wait until it's fully paid off in 3 years and some cash opens up.
