Hi Everybody

I had a very old Maxima I loved, nothing ever went wrong w/it, until it was totaled 3 wks ago. Was goin 2 get a Maxima/Altima, and then considered a G35 until I noticed that if you looked hard enough, there were G37's selling for almost the same price.

Avoiding a couple of insurance rebuilds/salvage cars, I was able to get a 2008 G37 that looks almost new except for the scratched up aluminum door pulls, and scatched up 'itty bitty' aluminum trim in the gearshift ****. Checking out this forum I now realized that I was quoted a ridiculous price for replacing this trim.

A question, from reading here, is it possible to get the 2009 trim(Washi?) and snap it on my 2008? Also, can I replace the small aluminum piece on the shift ****??

I'm in Redondo Beach just outside of Los Angeles, so if anyone knows of a parts outfit that has a CONSCIENCE please let me know.

Welcome to the forum. My '96 Maxima is my other car and I have no plans to ever get rid of it.

As far as the wahsi trim, Riverside Infiniti can hook you up on the door pulls. You cant get just the trim for the shift ****, you have to replace the entire ****.

Hey Black Betty Thanks 4 the info. Yes, those cars are tanks, never stopped running. It figures about the gearshift, popping it out would've been too easy.
