New Member, Hello All!

Hey guys!

Me and my cousin are looking at an 07 G37 RWD. We test drove it yesterday and the dealership being a GM/Pontiac/Buick didn't have much info on it. Even the carfax couldn't tell us whether it was a base or a Journey w/o the sports package. I have the vin number and was wondering if anyone could look into it. Any help would be much appreciated.

But yeah my cousin will be financing for the car through his workplace (Statefarm) and he will be selling me his 96 240sx (keeping it in the family). He's not much of a forum goer so hopefully I'll stick around and tell him about whatever I learn on this forum.

What's a newbie thread w/o pics? LOL here are some of my old car *sold :'(* (hopefully getting a Twin Turbo in June-July) and his 240sx.

Thanks!

Get me some pictures of the car and I'll be able to give you almost exact specs on it.

The dealer's web ad for it should be enough

Yeah, can you post the exact dealer's add? I kind of want to see this "2007" G37.

Hopefully the guy just made a slip of the tongue and it is a legit car, but photos and/or options list would tell people if it's a base model, Journey or what.

But anyway, welcome to the forums! I JUST got my car as of yesterday. If your cousin does get into a G37, I know your cousin will love it (sounds like this will be his car?).

LOLWTF! Sorry guys I was zonin or something when I typed that. Haha 07....shows you how much I know about my G's right? It's an 09. I was looking at an 07 G37 from the same dealer and thought it was a good idea to try to confuse you guys or something lol

Here's the link

2009 Infiniti G37, $25,991 - Cars.com

From the options they list it seems most likely to just be a base and nothing more. Correct me if I'm wrong.

LOL, no worries.

I'm pretty tired, and I'm also a "G37 n00b" (I've only had my car 2 days now) but yeah, that looks like the base model. Someone correct ME if I'm wrong too, please.

Here, here's Infiniti's website. You can go through their list and check off the option list.

Infiniti Luxury Cars, Crossovers and SUVs | Infiniti USA Limited Engagement Winter Sales Event

Hope that helps some.

Le Sigh!!! She seems to have been sold. We'll keep lookin and I'll update this thread when we get one. I remember it having a lot of the options from the Journey. Who knows lol Base/Journey are pretty much the same thing.
The search continues!

UPDATE!!!

As of Thursday January 7th 2009 my cousin is a proud owner of a beautiful 2009 G37X.

It's a base model which is all he could ask for. Doesn't need a bose sound system, navigation, home link or any of the fancy stuff. The base was a major upgrade from his 96 240sx and he was happy with it. She has about 30K miles (a little high) but everything checked out. Immaculate interior/exterior and everything worked flawlessly. We got them to do the 30K service and put on new tires/oil change and install that invisible bra for about 30K OTD. We both thought it was decent. I'll post pics when I can snap em. The car will have a little snow on it but yeah we're having a blast with it.

Bloodsport: Hey, congrats to your cousin on the car. I'm sure he'll love driving it around. I find myself making excuses to take a drive in my G37x.

For the past 2 days we've been wondering why the MPG on the G is so crappy lol

Here are a few quickies. I'll do a proper photoshoot once spring rolls around. We're not planning to mod much if anything yet because of the warranty.

See that UGLY POS in the back with the horrendous black topper? yeah that's what I roll for Winter lol. She doesn't look good but Trucks never were supposed to anyway rite? She runs like a champ!

Him getting in, we were going to go to the DMV to get the Title for the 240 swapped over to me.
