Hi everyone

First of all just wanted to thank all the regular posters as I have already learned quite a bit from reading the forums.

Pulled the trigger on a 2008 G37s 6MT when the .9% financing was announced. Cant beat that with no money down and them paying off my 07 civic completely!

Love the car so far and looking forward to learning more about modding and really making the car my own. Unfortunately for me I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this so I'm glad there are forums like this one. The first 'mod' I'd like to make is taking off the stupid decal the dealer put on the left side of the trunk. Like I said...I'm pretty clueless when it comes to anything more than driving my car . All the letters of the decal seem to be applied on the car separately so its not just one sticker to rip off. Can i just scratch these off with my finger nail or is there a better way to remove...I do not want to scratch my new paint! <----I know prob the n00best question evar but the last thing I want to do is f' up my new car!

After that its on to tints!

Eye candy:

Thanks!

Welcome welcome!!! As far as the dealer's sticker on the trunk, I'd take a hair dryer to the lettering which should loosen the adhesive so the letters should peel right off. Then, use a little "Goo Gone" with a microfiber towel to remove remaining adhesive, wash the area with car soap and water, dry thoroughly......you're officially "dealer debadged".

Welcome to myG37.com and the Infiniti family!

congrats and welcome!

get some floss and use a hair dryer to heat it up... it should come off, then use goo gone to clean it up.

what are your other future mod plans? anything done to the civic?

Welcome!

Your first mod should be to get a garage! I kiiiiiid.

I say tint, clear bra, and lights should be done first as they're cheapest and easiest to do that makes pretty a noticeable impact on its appearance.

Didn't mod the civic at all...was a lease and I didn't plan on keeping it long (only kept it for 18 mo).

Def tinting prob 30%...and I love that LED thread gonna do something like that for starters.
