After a month of driving my new G, I'm infatuated by the car.

The glares I get from G35 drivers
to my surprise, i thought the people who would take a double look at the car would be girls but no.
Its either middle aged men or men just my age

I just want to know from my fellow 37 drivers:
Which car do you have the most pleasure stopping at the red light next to?
meaning, is it G35 drivers or a modded hondas, etc?
Which sex does the most double take on your car?

 

I don't mind pulling up to any car, I just hate pulling up next to STI's & Evo's since all they wanna do is race all the damn time. When I got the car, it was mostly G35 coupe drivers and middle age guys in G35 sedans. But after I got my exhaust, everyone just looks now, when I take off from a drive-way or stop light, or even just turning.

 

Now that my car has a voice thanks to Tanabe, just about everyone I blast by HAS to look...

Ladies at work love it, always wan't me to drive, too bad I can only take one... they rotate.

Fast food joints deliver a complement 1 out of 6 times.

Today I got free service at a repair shop, I was their first G37.. fixed a stripped bolt. Mechanic didn't want to get out of the car..lol

Overall it does tend to be guys more then girls.. Guys tend to notice cars more.

I try not to stop next to anyone... I like to be the mysterious URO (Unidentified Red Object) that just blasted by...

i've actually kept a tab on this (dont ask why) but i'm somewhere around 14/20.

one girl even asked if she could drive/take a ride in it.

 

didn't keep track, but i had a few girls complement me about it.

 

Noticed that a constuction worker burley guy was looking at the car when I got out of it at the gas station today. noticed other random people checking it out. Actually close to what I used to get from people looking an my 08 Z06. Except more people at the gas stations seemed to ask me about the horse power of the Z06 and how fast it was, how fast have I taken it etc...

 

love it when guys get mad when their woman is staring at my G in traffic

I like pulling up to bmw drivers and civics... they all want to rev their engines like they can take my G.. their lucky im still in the break-in process. I also get looks and compliments from everyone... drive thru's, gas stations, neighbors... I get looks from every stoplight... sometimes the people checking out my car at a stop light have the most weirdest faces on... that's just another reason I can't wait to get tints, so I don't have to laugh at people who faces look like they just shat their pants.

 

I get looks and compliments everywhere... probably 1/2 by men and 1/2 by women.

I pulled up to a red light the other day was right next to another black G37. Bone stock, not even tint. The couple in it was probably late 20s / early 30s and chick said to her BF/Husband... "Damn that's HOT". I had my windows down so I could hear her. Her guy was sooo pissed. He thought he was tough stuff and then I pulled up.

I must say the best moment was at a gas station. I pulled in right after a couple in an Acura TL. They both saw my car. The lady went in to get a coke or something while her husband filled up with gas. When the lady came out, she came right up to my car and starting talking about it, asking questions, etc. Her husband finished up pumping gas and came over and said "Honey, we should get going". She didn't like that so said something to the effect of "Can't you see I'm talking now". He got back in the car and she continued talking to me while I finished pumping gas. She gave me the "I wish I could **** you" smile and got back in the car with her husband.

I think I might have been gettin that look since May 6th but didn't know what to make of it.
Now this chic was suckin' on a lolipop starin' me down hard, while she sat in a hooptie waiting for her BF to come back to the car.
I kept my head on swivel just in-case ole boy caught the eye game exchange.

I always laugh my *** off b/c guys always stare at my car and then their girlfriends pull them away... it's seriously hilarious

 

when ever i see a G35 or a 328 i cut them off lool...but since im a good lookn guy i get a lot of looks from chicks...I get the most looks from those 3.5 altimas that to me seem like wanna be 37s...I LOVE cutting those cars off bc i hate them SOOO much
