I just joined the other day.
I purchased a new G37 Journey (Sport, Nav, Prem) in Blue Slate with Black interior.
I drove to work, and it sits outside waiting for me.
How can I work?? I must leave early. It's Friday..

I am so anxious to get past the break-in period.. It's so tempting.
On the 1st drive, I did go past 4k RPMs.. but not much past, and not often.. It just happened..

Got a $400 ticket the day after though driving to vegas

 

$400 ticket? man. i didnt think they gave out speeding tickets that high.. i got a ticket for going 56 in a 35 and it was only like $160. i thought if you got caught doing 25 over it was considered reckless driving and they just arrested you?

 

it was in the middle of the desert.
actually i thought i could fight the ticket but don't want to drive all the way over there from LA.
the cop said the plane clocked me doing "over" 90. thank god.
i know i was actually pushing well over 120 to "test" the car out.

I'll take some pictures.. (it just rained a little yesterday..grr..)
I've been driving a Blazer ZR2 for the past 8 years, and an S15 ZR2 for five years before that.. Everything car-like it impressive to me with this car. Acceleration. The steering works!! Braking. I really have to be careful.. I hit the gas for a moment to pass cars.. overkill.. I was going way to fast

I went to Costco with it yesterday. A package of toilet paper and a bag of Beef Jerky is all that fit in the trunk.. But really, what else do you need?

That tiny light that points to the passenger seat.. my passenger was pressing every button everywhere.. and it came on.. I could not get it to turn off.. I even pressed everything - well, maybe all but the right one - Finally I walked away & hit the lock.. it went off a minute later when I returned..

So, tell me.. what sequence did we accidently hit to keep it on?
I thought the dome light on-door-off thing did it.. but it was set to door. The other interior lights were off.
