Just ordered my AG G37S 6MT. I should be picking it up by next week, im upgrading from a 2004 AB G35 5AT. Cant wait to post pics to show everyone.

Thanks for the advice! Ive been reading about mods.... got to dig into my pockets. I test drove the 37 5AT at the dealer and it was great cant wait to get my hand on the 6MT.

 

You may want to go back and do a test drive in a 6MT. Having test driven the AT and coming out of one, a trial of the 6MT will give you a feel for this clutch which is a bit tricky for some drivers. It'd not harsh IMO, but the 1-2 shift is a bit abrupt and the linkage is somewhat noisy (drive it at slow speeds with the windows down and you'll see what I mean) and the shifter vibrates. Don't get me wrong, I personally love it but do some reading on others' thoughts about it here and try it yourself before you take delivery.

yes ... I agree... the clutch is very tricky compared to other cars I have driven...

Yea I herd about this high engagement, my friend has a IP 37 and coming from his TL type S he says he notices a big difference. I have not driven his so I dont know but I have driven his TL and a celica. I will most definitly be calling the dealer today and try to schedule a test drive. Thanks for the info!

 

^^^ The clutch is a little different but nothing too serious....you'll get use to it after a few days of driving.

the clutch was pretty tricky for me when i test drove it, but you'll get used to it, i'm still anxiously waiting for mine
