I've had my Black Beauty about 20 days now.
We are bonding so well it's not even funny.

Anyway after the rains we went for a "Spa" treatment today and I wanted to get some snap shots of her looking as fresh and clean as the day she was handed over to me..well almost.

Nope haven't been driving as much as I'd like to.
The mountain bike has been getting a nice work out though.

The Black Beauty drinks like a very thirsty fish and I don't even drive hard or fast.
I think I have under 400 miles on her so far.
She looks so good after the "Spa" treatment I just want to take pics all day.
Looks like she's posing coz she knows she looks good.
Wait.... am I reading too much into her personality..?

I was at Mr Chows on Friday night (With the boss)-I didn't eat a thing.
That place always has Bentleys & Rolls Royce Phantoms <--(My boss)
Range Rovers, that fast little Italian Car that I still can't spell properly-begins with an F, all parked in prime position outside.
I pull up in the modest Black G and the (Jaded) valet guys seem to light up.
I guess it's a car they don't see too often out there.
Daaang that place is expensive...but I did get a kick out of seeing very petite Eva Longoria. (Her husband (Tony Parker) lost badly earlier to the Lakers....Haaa!!!)

Hope the Lakers get this win tonight.

Yeah, Mr. Chow's is known to be a celeb. choice for resturants. Bring your Amex Black if you're buying though, that's for sure. Yeah, I've found it kind of crazy the difference between Highway mileage and city mileage. It's like night and day.

I've been to Mr Chows just a handful of times over the last 3 years.
That's PLENTY for me.
When I was presented with a menu with no prices listed, I knew I was in the wrong place.
Speaking of Amex..
One time I was there and the bill was just insane for a table of 5 with 2 bottles of bubbly, I was asked to cover the bill and I would be covered later.
I pull out my brand new (Never been used before) Platinum Amex and the waiter paused and looks at me as if to say...

"Lets see if this works shall we ?"

His tip was less than 10% after that move.

Can't wait to roll in there with the titanium Black Card and...
well anyway..moving along.

It's a fun spot to people/star watch if you have the time.
But at those prices..you could do better hanging out on Robertson Ave or Rodeo drive.
Me, I'd rather save up for the Nikon D80 and take better pics of the Black Beauty.

By the way..I have a question about the Navigation system.
I've noticed that I now have a bunch of yellow markers (Dots) that look like they might be all the places I've been to in the city.
Is there anyway I can get rid of those markers..?
It's not like I'm using them as stored locations.

Any ideas...?
