We have had to replace a few engines and transmissions that Jiffy Pube either left the drain plug off, or flushed a transmission with the wrong fluid.

Thats just horrible. I wish there were shops that had windows for all to see while their car was being worked on.

Of course no company wants that liability but would be cool none-the-less.

Jiffy Pube advertises that do they do have windows for you to watch. That makes it even worse, not only are they lying to your face, but doing it right in front of you.

like others, i've seent this too - one time i watched my car the whole time, they never even moved it into the pit area and then tried to charge me / when i told the guy they didn't do anything, he had the ***** to tell me I had and attitude.

..unbelievable. -anyway, I ALWAYS make friends w/ my mechanic and I ALWAYS pretend to chat w/ them while they do the work- but really I'm watching them. I always ask to see the filter, but I lie and say it's because i think i waited too long.. etc.

3 important people you need in ur life: good mechanic, good doctor and good tax guy!
