Acura discontinues RSX
Terry reminded me of Honda getting involved in turbocharging which I think is the best thing since buttered bread lightly toasted with a glass of oj.
here is the link to the SUV that will be coming out first with the turbocharger

Just imagine the coupes being next

People hardly buy the NSX & Now they're discontinuing the RSX...WTF...Honda better have something pretty bad up under their table if they want to stay in competition with the luxury coupe division because the accord coupe isn't cuttin' it IMO. Plus Inifiniti, Nissan & Toyota are about to kill it in the next couple of years

They are basically trying to up their image in luxury. What I think they should do is make a sporty coupe version of the TSX and call it a day. But then again.. the TSX = euro accord. They need to stay away from the cheap wanna be entry levels. Look at the g35..its entry level infiniti but its not cheap...its got power...its got lux... same goes for the bmw 3 series. The new IS..any thing lexus rings out luxury. The RSX should replace the civic SI in the Honda brand lineup. It would sell like hotcakes. Of course they would have to do a redesign of the RSX to make it more appealing. Or they can just come out with a full oem kit version of it to make it more appealing to the eyes. Honda needs to also redesign the ulgy **** mdx.. thats one of the ugliest suv's out there. I'd prefer the pilot over it. If they put the RSX in the honda lineup they can bump up the S2000 a couple grand.
LEK, COME ON MANG U CAN'T BE SERIOUS. The CL 2 u was a cheaper version of the TL. WHAAAT!!!
That's like me saying The G 35 coupe is a cheaper version of the G 35 sedan. LOL & the all wheel drive G 35 sedan is way better than the coupe. If u look at it, IMO, The TL competes against the G 35 sedan & the CL, if it was still being produced, would be going up against the G 35 coupe(no competition, but still it's all business no matter how U look at it). Basically just like how Infiniti has a coupe & sedan ranging in a 30,000 dollar price range for people to choose between, the Acura TL & CL are & were doing the same thing. And The TSX is Ugly as Shyt 2 me when it 1st came out I was like Y the Hell would Acura come out with a baby TL and label it a TSX
It Boggled the brain cells

TSX > CL LOOOL
TSX looks better than CL imo, CL's a$$ looks very wierd.
however, they arnt exactly the same class... TSX is a little 4 banger while CL has a 3.2L V6.
IMO Acura has 2 fatal flaws that keeps it from being highly competitive with the rest of the luxury brands.
1) RWD sedan/coupe platform
2) V8 engine
these 2 flaws have been echoed by various car magazines for years. When ever there is a magazine comparison, Acura gets criticized big time when the other luxury brands have those things.
However Acura is not doing too bad... the current gen TL out sold the G35 and IS each year since it debuted, and is 2nd only to the 3 series. I understand their willingness to sacrafice short term profit in order to build a better brand image for long term success.
According to autoweek, they are currently developing a V8 based on the V10 that will be in the next gen NSX. Theres no word of a RWD platform yet, but i wouldnt be suprised if they announce something regarding that in the near future. the prospect of honda engineered turbo engine sounds very promising too. I expect Acura to become a stronger brand in the future.
