If you guys haven't seen this check out there 64Kb demo. It's about 10+ minutes of 3D rendered graphics and audio!

Anyone that can turn on a computer will be impressed.

WOW so impressed

Well I can turn on a computer, and I actually downloaded that #@!% and boy was I impressed. It is exactly what is is posted as. 10+ minutes of a 3d video with audio that looks like it could be out of Doom....the original. The only thing that I am impressed with is my stupidity for wasting 10+ minutes on that. But hey that's only my opinion. Why don't you watch it for yourself and let me know what you think. This way i won't be the only one to have wasted my time.

Note the impression is not with the graphics itself (the file is 5years old), its with the compression, well the relative-compression. From my understanding the files they generate are just that small. They fit what they did into a file the size of a text doc. The text in there alone is worth the file size. They take more advantage of this in some of the other demos if you want to skip ahead.

I guess my previous statement was putting a litttle too much credit to the everyday user. I'll revice it to state that anyone who knows anything about file compression/generation would be impressed.

I played the game a couple of years back. Yeah, it's pretty amazing how they can get so much out of just 90k file. I mean my "Hello World" c++ executable was larger than that.
