damn B, sorry to hear about this...DEF. go to court, use the calibration and downhill grade but just tell the judge you know your guilty...BUT (fill in __________) with your excuse/justification. you should be fine...good luck!!

Speedometers seem to lose accuracy the faster you go, here's the mitsubishi tolerances:


This should give you an idea of how much your speedometer should be off because of the change in wheels:

That said... larger wheels make your speedometer show that you're going slower than you are. I wonder what it would say if you had a set of 20s for the calibration.

Exactly.long ago i had a mustang with 14's i put on 16's i was 20 over got off.i used this excuse.

Sorry to hear that Brian. When we left the mall I took 108 back. I figured with the lights I wouldn't speed as much. If you hadn't been saying so much about the cops and it being the end of the month I probably would have been flying down 100.
