yeah im back from my interview. I dont think it went too well, the lady that was interviewing me kept covering up her ***** with her suit jacket dispite the fact that shes got no ***** what so ever and I was looking at her face the whole time. She was pretty self concious, got me laughing inside.
The position is for a .Net developer, they were like, so terry what kinda .NET have you done?
i was like... uhh... they dont teach us .NET in school... but ive developed .NET applications using Visual Studio.net C++ to make windows forms and web forms.
Then they were like... have you worked with ASP.net? Im like No
like i said they dont teach .NET in school. we learn C, C++, Java etc. the fundation stuff. but im willing to learn, and it shouldnt be difficult to pick up.
they were like have you worked with this? no. Have you worked with that? uh Nope. Have you worked with blah blah? Cant say that I have...
Then I was like, you guys are asking if I have used all this stuff, when Im just coming out of college for an entry level position. Undergrad classes dosnt teach that stuff. Then they were like... "yeah we know... we dont expect you to know any of this we are just asking you for the heck of it." I was like "Great....."
NEWAYS
i just gotta reply a few emails, set up a few more interviews and im done for the day. 5pm is straight with me.
