It seems as if most of america is subject to increasing gas prices, but is never informed as to the REASON why...just speculation from newscasters.

So i saw a video clip on msnbc last night, an analyst says the prices are going up due to the new EPA standards and new methods required to produce cleaner fuel, despire the fact that the anchorwoman said it was due to increased tensions with Iran and political turmoil in Nigeria (which are two of the largest oil producers). I could swear I read another article that said prices are going up becuase of problems with Iran and Venezuela, which that article said were the two largest producers. As an annoyed critic, it seems that every few months the prices are insanely high, the news sources say its due to america's tensions with country X and country Y, "...the two largest oil producers"...and they're always different countries!
