$47 bucks Monday morning, lol
$2.87 / gal

Theres no reason gas prices should go up, except for greed, profits, and the govt hyping up gas shortages...

If that shyt happens, everybody should walk/take the metro or stay their a** home as a form of protest. I bet they would bring the price of gas down in a hurry then.

You don't think they'd increase metro fares if gas went up? I took Metro for the first time in yrs to see the Cherry Blossoms and was shocked how much they've gone up.

I wish they keep raising gas prices. It'll clear the roads up better than road construction and HOV could ever accomplish.

its a miracle its been going up so slow... honestly we've been spoiled by decades of economic and military dominance that held gas price artificially low. Isnt it strange that In Europe where economy and living standards are pretty much the same as over here, they are paying many times more for gas than we are?

national georgraphis did an ariticle and said that within the next few years oil poduction will hit the zenith of the production bell curve. at that point we will start to experience decline in production capacity. Price will no doubt skyrocket because demand will not slow down. (thanks to china and inida becoming industiralized, their increasing demand for oil is driving price up too).

days of cheap oil is over and theres nothing we can do about it.
