I am a service advisor, not a tech.

Hey Virge, don't worry it's a very simple install. I installed the M-REV myself. Just read over the giude a few times and take your time. I found it easier to remove the air intake and top plenum completely, make sure to hook-up all the hose's when your done, and do not push on the throttle body butterfly valve. Follow all the progressive torque sequence's and your off and running. I would help but it would be a very long drive for me(Canada), any ways good luck and enjoy.

Virge, I can help you. Sorry I was sorta away this weekend. I haven't done the MREV since I have an '03 but I did my spacer install and it can't be much harder. Let me know when you'd like to do it this week, I might be able to stop by and do it real quick. Engine just need to be cool to touch, so pop the hood and take out the engine cover whenever you get home to cool it down.

Have a good install. It's actually quite simple, as you will soon see.

hopefully =)
I'm more worried about the lower plenum...Also do need to get anything to seal it? Also Devon (wnt1bd) was saying that we really dont need the copper part (cools the engine) or something.....maybe I misheard him

All the gaskets you need are provided, you do reuse one of the OEM gaskets on the plenum, no sealer required. I don't know how necessary the copper thermal gasket is.

Big thanks to Khoa with helping me on the install last night...(he did most of the work lol, I helped a little...). I haven't driven the car yet, going to put the copper thermal gasket in tonight with Khoa's help. But yea the install seemed fairly straightforward. Much easier with 2 people though...woulda been a b***h and half to do it alone...

remember you wont feel the full effect until the ecu relearns the improved airflow.it may take a few days,go out and enjoy more power.
