Yes, I have 4 tickets and counting (Stupid Fairfax PD)..LOL. VA law 50 front, 35 back. Sometimes they dont say anything, but sometimes you get caught. If you get caught the ticket is $30 plus $57 processing fee = $87. Also remember, they cant just pull you over for tint, it has to be a secondary ticket. Just leave your sunroof cover pulled back to allow more light in, it sometimes helps.

I think that getting metallic tint on a G35 is a very bad idea, the radio antenna is built into the rear glass window, so the metallic tint with interfere with reception. Go with ceramic or "extruded" tint.

wow that just seems ridicoulus for tint, no matter how great of a job it is...300 bucks??
I got my tint in columbia, md at a place called performance window tinting, normally for a g35 coupe its about 165...since my boy knows the guy there, he hooked it for a 100 and my tint looks great, got 15%....

Got mine at LA Tint in Woodbridge for 280, price was steep but the quality is excellent. No problems at all, have had it for a year.

Make sure you find out how they deal with the dot matrix on the rear window!! Please see all the existing threads even in this forum regardint tint. You'll get a lot of answers. I got my back dot matrix painted from the inside. I went to TNT Tint in Alexandria. He does lots of Bimmers there as well. I believe its Madico tint and looks great. I paid 160 for all the windows plus 90 for the painting of the dot matrix. May be kinda steep for the matrix but I like the way it looks as opposed to seeing bubbles on some peoples cars!

I had my sentra done at LA tint in Manassas and I thought they did a great job. I had my first G35 tinted at Express tint in Centreville, I thought it sucked. I won't use them again.
My second G35 was already tinted when I got it. Whever it was done they did a really good job in it.

I have the same tint. I used his hookup heh. The only thing I dont like that LA Tint didnt do is tint to the very tip of the window. With the G its a lil tricky since the windows go down when opening the door.

you will not have any problems with the G and a metallic film. I have the regular radio, XM, and Satellite. none of them are affected by the film

btw, I have no tint tickets yet 38% all round.

I got my tint just last week from Driver1 in MD!! paid $130 got a better job than LA tint's Premium's($240) package!!! Also there were a lot of chill guys there and on top of that he lets you watch your car get tinted so you don't get bored.

Definetly recommend him to anyone!!!
