IOC put my wheels back on the wrong sides

I dont know how this will affect tire life, but I noticed that when they resurfaced my rotors, they put the front wheels back on the wrong sides they were originally on. Does this cause any problems?

get them to put them on the right way.tire life is reduced and more important wet traction will be terrible.

Are the 19" summer tires directional? I can't recall since removing them before winter.

The OEM 19s have tires that do not have arrows on them. You will notice that says "OUTSIDE" on the tire instead. As long as you have the front tires on the front and the rear tires in the back, it doesn't matter what side it is on. I recently put my 19's back on and was confused at first since there was no arrows to guide me in the correct side to put them on. I confirmed with others that the design on the tread is assymetrical and noticed the "OUTSIDE" and "INSIDE" marks on the tires.

What did you visually see on the tires to make you think they were put on the wrong side?

Lek, while the Bridgestone OEM 19's might not be directional (don't know since I don't have them), the Michelin Pilot Sport OEM 18's are directional. Michelin PS 2's are not directional. Just read the sidewall...

John just got a free tire rotation, so he should be happy. Jacking up my car's front end is a pain (really need those Takata ramps)...

since we're speaking of jacking up the car....what kinda car jack do you have? I'm trying to buy a speed jack. Where can I go to buy one...how much? Maybe buy those takata ramps too.. just to make things easier.

i have two cheapo craftsman hydraulic jacks (plus the OEM scissor jack)... I saw a really nice low profile racing jack at costco for $99, but hard to justify, although at ~70 for the takata's, i dunno.

I also have some Rhino Ramps, which worked before my car was lowered... if any of you guys want those ramps, let me know

How are ramps going to help you while doing a tire rotation?

I picked up an alumium low profile floor jack at Habor Freight for ~$130. Many people say this brand isn't reliable but it's worked for me countless times. Just remember to just jack stands if you're working under the car.
