I'm gonna say 248 whp, of course it all depends on what dyno they have. I've seen people post drastically different numbers on different machines.

Looks like you have a pretty solid non-FI sys. Definitly interested in seeing the new numbers. You didn't happen to get any before the mods did you?

Dyno result + un finished tune MAX HP/TQ = 295hp/265Tq (base 278/255).................it's on Dyno Atlantis....... after 1 hr of tuning, Jermaine could not flat out the curve yet due to dyno machine over heated.......so he will try to flat correct the curve little bit more on this monday.....expect to get 300hp/268Tq........ this is on Dyno Atlantis......so i don't know what exactly number with dyno jet....stay tune

 

great numbers. congratulations tofu. Im gonna eat some tofu just for you. did you get a stock dyno reading? so we can compare how much it improved from stock? or do they know what stock 05-06 usually dynos on their dyno?


edit: nevermind, you did mention the base numbers, my bad

its expecially impressive that your max hp and torque went up that much, because Mrev usually dosnt improve the max hp and torque by more than 5. your car should be much much faster

Jermaine took me for a ride with his tuned 350z.... it's an insane 350z....my back was glued to the seat at the 2rd and 3rd gear.......his car is arround 300hp/260tq.....I am very impressed with is 350z......

 

david, does the car feel any different w/ the UTEC?? where did you get the UTEC installed/tuned??
numbers are impressive BUT you do have an 06...those normally rate ~265-270hp from what I have seen. So it looks like u got 17hp from those mods....

Mrev/cats/popcharger/pulley/exhaust should get you at least 10-15hp...so it looks like the tune didnt squeeze much out..but at least ur not going to run lean/rich since ur tuned.

 

^^^the stock 06 dyno is ~245hp/230tq for the 06 6MT......Tune may be squeeze out another 10hp/6tq but the thing is the car is MUCH MUCH smoother thru out the RPM......I lose a little traction at 1st & 2nd gear..... base line before tuning was 278/250 with all the mods..............so I guess the MREV+ did not give me much gain like 18hp/25tq .....

Mrev give you 15+hp, however it is gained around the midrange part of the powerband (around 4800rpm). the max hp dosnt actually increase. if you look at Devon, and couple of other people's MREV dyno charts, their max hp only went up by like 1 or 2hp. tofu gained 17+ MAX hp. this is totally different and better from what he had gained from Mrev. I assure you that the 17hp gain from your MAX hp is not from mrev.

tofu if you can post your dyno charts, we can look at how much you really gained. MAX hp is for bragging, its the area under the curve that determines how fast your car is.

It took Jermaine 1.5 hr before he was able to flat out the hp/tq...........the final number is: 284/264 (FLAT line) wohooooooooo.....the car is freaking smooooooooothhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......I want to floor the car all the way home .......with VQ engine, we will have the jump at 5.8-->6.2RMP that was why my car made like 295hp at the spike yesterday........TURBO XS did a great job (especially Jermaine) and are very friendly to deal hang with....man I picked the right place for tuning my car......whenever i got an email from Jermaine, I will put up the dyno chart.......

 

so you got 284/264 with boltons and a tuning?? or am I missing something else??
