ken i think it can be had for even <1k. vertical doors offers alot of sponsorships/partial ones...maybe if u applied they'd hook you up...not many G/Z's running around DC metro w/ vert doors

I recall seeing a thread that a guy in cali did on his vert doors. I think he paid around $1k for install. Of course he had a really high end setup. I think he paid like $5k for the whole thing.
ya lambo door installs need to be done right...and that can cost 1k alone. ive watched the labor...half the body panels need to be removed (front fenders, side skirts, doors...then sometimes they even need to weld/drill holes into your factory chassis....overall not something the dealership will care for. In addition ALL the wiring into the door (power door locks, speakers, power windows and everything else) needs to be extended from the stock grommet...as a vert. door will go up so requires longer wiring. You figure all that plus putting in the hinge and replacing body panels can take up to 8 hrs....so...usually they charge ~$100/hr so figure 6-8 hrs....for an average shop....
