Did anyone else get that letter from Passport Infiniti?

According to the letter, Passport Infiniti is wanting to buy used Infinitis so that they can resell them as certified used cars.
One deal they have is that they will pay the base MSRP for your year and model minus $.45 for each mile.
Another deal they have is that they will upgrade your car to a 2006 while you keep the same payments. I haven't called but I wonder if they mean that your monthly loan payments will stay the same while they extend your loan term.
Anyone thinking about doing this? If the exterior didn't change for the 2006 Coupes, I would jump on this in a heartbeat because I like the interior especially since BT is available.

Sounds like two things:
Base MSRP - that might mean the base for that model year, not with the options packages you might have.
Keep Same Payments - but probably put you on a 60-month lease to get it to the same numbers.
My car (base with options) was $36,360. It's an '04.5. I just broke 20k miles on her, so figure 20,500. At 45c/mile that's $9,225. That drops it to $27,135.
That's almost exactly the same as Private Party sale price on Edmunds for my car with its options at 'Clean' level. Not too bad I guess, but again, they're saying "base MSRP"... who knows what that really means.

Yea, you are correct. I actually spoke to them before I bought my '06. And the base price they used for the 4.5 was like $33K I think. My G had 12,500 miles on it and it came to around $27,000 trade in.
If you bought your car new, and have been good with making payments this should allow you to get a new car at the same financing term for around the same price. i.e. if youre currently paying $700 for 60months, you'll probably end up paying about $715 for another 60months.
I ended up getting my from IoC. They gave me bluebook dealer trade-in, and we were able to do some negotiations on the price. Note: if you want an automatic you'll have more room to bring them down from MSRP.

I got that same letter, (probably word for word, just with Toyota) for my truck, as well as my coworker for his Land Cruiser....It doesn't come from the dealer I'm taking it, but more a third party trying to pull their gimmick.
Good Luck, and let us know how it goes.
