I was looking around radartest.com (i'm bored...) and I saw that. They seem to be pretty conifdent that it helps hinder radar/laser significantly...

Its worth a shot, its waht $10? may as well try. I wouildnt have much more piece of mind though like a radar detector would. I know my 8500 saved me at least twice this past weekend coming back from NY.
