Good choice. More romantic than Laureal plaza, but they got great Mexican food.
Try Felix sometime, very romantic and not too expensive.

Forget about Galileo. I was just there and learned that it had changed ownership. The new owner just don't have the same finesse as the previous one. I think the food is actually not as good. However, it is still as pricey as ever. My dinner costed me $175. I went there with a group of friends and we paid Dutch. The total tab for 6 of us was just under $1,400.00.

Doesn't meet your criteria but in the future if in D.C. and along a metro line aren't necessary Chart House in old town is good. I hope the suggestion for the Palm is good thats where my parents are taking me this weekend for my bday

i don't go into dc very often to eat out but i think this site helps out a lot since i'm still not very familiar with the area... top 100 restaurants and top 100 best bargains.. the link also gives u options to narrow down the restaurants by price, location, cuisine, etc

****...you're just mad b/c the crack lady running that place didn't have falafels, chick peas, and lentils for you to be munching on. Next time don't wear such metrosexual clothing and you can stuff some cans of camel spit juice in your shirt!
