Make that 3 MD'ers! But since I've never been to HH I don't want to ruin that perfect streak by showing up.

But seriously coming from Baltimore it's just too far for me. The only way I could do it is A) I was off that day or B) it was a holiday and I was off but chances are if it were a holiday you guys wouldn't be doing HH anyway. Oh well.

 

yeah.. i feel you, and brian on this one, everytime we suggest holding it in MD, even rockville the VA people say they arnt going while Brian has been going to VA everyweek. its kinda unfair. I dont really mind since i enjoy driving my car, but i know where brian is coming from

 

Not like i make it out to HH often .. however, i wouldn't mind going to MD .. BUT you gotta understand .. its easier for ya'll to come from MD to VA during rush hour than it is for people in VA to go to MD. traffic is just crazy going to MD from VA .. but vice versa it isn't that bad. If you hold events ... on the weekends and stuff in MD .. i'm sure people will show

 

yeah. the issue of HH in MD is beating a dead horse exhumed from the grave.
Arguably its known that getting into VA is a bit easier than going to MD during those hours.

 

i dont think going to rockville is any harder than us going to to tysons, we hit mad traffic too on the 495 going to tysons. i dont mind going to tysons at all, but i am disappointed when we suggest something in MD and the VA people start crying about traffic when we go through it every thursday. the part going west before Georgia Ave on 495 is really bad as well as the part near tysons. we goto OTB every week, so i think holding it in rockville once in a while is not unfair at all.

 

There's OTB in rockville too!! ahaha

First off, I'm sure some of you haven't been in the club long enough to know the history of Happy Hour. Happy hour was an idea that I suggested to Pratik, John, and Puria. We originally help happy hour in Fairoaks at Rio Grande and a couple times at Champs. At one of the meets I was talking to Devon and I asked him to come down to our Happy Hour because we have lots of fun. We then proceeded to relocate to a closer location because Fairoaks would be way too far. And here we are at OTB. I really don't mind if you everyone agrees to have it in MD. But because of my time restraint I will not be attending any happy hours in MD. So for some of the guys who don't know the history... now you know we did compromise.

 

Our first ever Happy hour was on July 21, 2005.

Terry, its not like we havent agreed to going to Rockville sometimes before.

I say 1/4 HH should be in Rockville and the rest at Tysons.

 

I say F the MD peeps they cant start their own G club!! they all stock anyways!!

i'll beat the MD peeps at any sport, game, contest any day of the week...

on that note...the only thing MD peeps do better is throw pants parties almost every weekend!!
