(Me) SURE!!
(Cop) Any reason you don't have a front tag?
(Me) Don't like the way it looks!! (Laughing)
(Cop) Be right back..............
5 Minutes later
(Cop) Sir, this is a citation for No Front.......
(Me) I know I know No front tag , $55 (laughing still)
(Cop) No it's $60 now.....You done this before?
(Me) (laughing) Yep about 2-3 months ago.....
(Cop) Ok then you know it's no points, sign here and have a nice night.
(Me) Thanks, You too!!! (Laughing)

Whole time wife was like, next time don't so cocky....$60 who cares...

 

haha, you sound so happy being pulled over the cop :P how many times did you get pulled for your front tags?

 

3 now,1 warning, 2 tickets

 

HoCo cops are notorious with no front tags deal and fix it ticket. With my '95 accord, i got about 10 fix it ticket for my stupid clear lightings. As for front tags, i got 2-4 verbal warnings, one written and 3 fines/tickets that followed that. Once they logged you into the system you can't get away with any excuses (funny thing is my bracket was really broken and I wasn't sure how it can be fixed)..hehe. After my third fine, which was in my neighborhood, drove home and shot 2 screws into the front bumper .

Nah this was a new guy, he went out of his way to get me too......I didn't even pull the card out, was feeling to cocky, besides he made the effort to get me, he wasn't going to let me slide...I mean he U turned 3 lanes of TRAFFIC just to drop behind me at the light. I was stopped, so he was looking for reasons.

 

I guess you have to put it on your dash, with a nice license plate frame .

YES, atleast in MD, it's not acceptable. If they want to be **** about it, if it's not on the front bumper, then you don't have your front plate on. peroid.
